The TRI-NEWS CENTRAL website is a network linking communication between adjacent neighborhoods. Special features highlight the uniqueness and special qualities that make our area a great place to live, raise families, and retire! TRI-NEWS CENTRAL is sponsored by the J-6 / Mescal Community Development Organiztion (CDO), a not-for-profit corporation established in 2003. Web content and maintenance is provided by community volunteers. The project is financed through donations, minimal advertising fees, and membership dues. The CDO provides the people of J-6 Ranchettes, Mescal, Skyline, Empire Acres and surrounding areas the opportunity to share visions, concerns and plans regarding the future development and betterment of their community giving priority to Health, Safety and Environmental Quality. In addition, the CDO Board will represent CDO Membership before such local and state legislative and administrative agencies as may be necessary or advisable to accomplish the community goals.
